About Indiana Family Law
Indiana Family Law is written by William L. Wilson, an attorney in South Bend, Indiana. Handling family law cases since 1991 has lead to one inescapable conclusion: conflict in family law cases is bad for everyone and solves nothing. No one wins in a divorce. No one wins a custody battle. The legal system provides few good solutions to the problems of people. Most of what lawyers and judges do in family law cases is not helpful to the parties or their children.
With this understanding, Bill works with clients to find solutions that reduce conflict and promote a healthier approach to divorce, custody, and other difficult family law matters. He also handles adoptions and mediates family law disputes.
Bill is a member of the St. Joseph County, Indiana State and American Bar Associations. He belongs to the family law sections of all three bar associations. He is a certified family law mediator, and has taught basic and advanced mediation programs. He has also been trained in the practice of collaborative law, a divorce model where the parties and lawyers agree to never resort to the courts to solve their problems. After training, he joined the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.

I like your survival guide. In fact, we intend to sponsor a free seminar in Floyd County, Indiana called Surviving Divorce. I would like your permission to use your guide in the seminar. Please let me know if this is acceptable. We have also launched a blog at http://www.divorce-law-indiana.blogspot.com and are in the process of expanding the family law pages on the firm website. Thanks.
